Hi, and welcome. I’m so glad you’re here!
This blog – Currently Unpacking – is something I’ve been thinking about starting for a while. It’s a space I’ve created to sort through life, thoughts, emotions, and whatever else ends up in the carry-on of my mind. I wanted somewhere to be honest, soft, curious, and maybe a little messy.
So, who am I?
I’m someone who’s been learning (and unlearning) a lot about myself, especially when it comes to mental health. I’m not an expert or therapist – I’m just a human figuring things out, navigating through the good days, the heavy ones, and the in-betweens. I deal with things like anxiety, overthinking, and periods of burnout, and writing has always been one of the ways I make sense of it all.
I also love sharing the little joys – music I’m vibing to, shows I’ve been obsessed with, random thoughts that make me laugh, and snapshots from my everyday life.

Currently Unpacking is a mix of reflections, life updates, and fun, lighthearted content. Think of it as a journal I’ve left open on the kitchen table. You’ll find posts like:
- What I’m currently unpacking emotionally or mentally.
- Life lately: wins, weirdness, and what I’m learning.
- Things bringing me joy.
- Honest thoughts on healing, rest, boundaries, and more.
- Just fun stuff – because that matters too.
Why the name?
I chose Currently Unpacking because it captures the ongoing nature of this space. Life doesn’t wrap itself up neatly, and neither do our thoughts or emotions. We’re always in motion – always figuring things out, piece by piece. And that’s okay.
Whether you’re here because you’re going through something similar, or you just stumbled in out of curiosity – thank you. I hope you find something here that resonates, or at least makes you feel less alone. This blog is for anyone who’s currently unpacking – whatever that means for you.
